Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide design and build services.
This is a starting template. Before the site goes live it should be reviewed and completed by a solicitor or a compliance service so that it reflects how the business actually operates.
Quotations
Quotations are based on the scope agreed at survey and are valid for 30 days. Prices exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Any figures shown on this website are indicative guides, not offers.
Design fees
The initial consultation and quotation are provided free of charge. Detailed concept work is chargeable and is credited against the project value if you proceed to contract.
Payments
Projects are invoiced against agreed milestones: booking deposit, commencement, first fix, fit-out and completion. Work proceeds to the next stage on cleared payment of the preceding one.
Variations
Any change to the agreed scope is confirmed in writing with its cost and programme effect before the work is carried out.
Programme
Programme dates are given in good faith and may be affected by matters outside our control, including supplier lead times, access, site conditions and statutory approvals.
Warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for 12 months from practical completion. Equipment, appliances and materials carry their manufacturers' warranties, which are passed to you at handover.
Insurance and compliance
We hold public liability and contractor's works insurance. Electrical work is certified and notified where required and gas work is undertaken by Gas Safe registered engineers. Where Building Regulations or planning approval apply, responsibility for obtaining them is confirmed in writing before work starts.
Complaints
If something is not right, contact us at info@theleisureroomco.co.uk. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
